Opel has officially introduced the next generation of its Corsa GSi hatchback. The car utilizes the same racing-grade chassis as its hi-end OPC model and comes with sports suspension finely tuned on the famous Nürburgring track in Germany.
Allegedly, the new Opel Corsa GSi gets the same 1.4-liter turbo engine with 150hp and 220 Nm of torque as the current-gen Corsa S. It should be able to accelerate 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 8.6 seconds and peak out at 207 km/h (slightly under 130 mph).
Among other things, the new Opel Corsa GSi will come with sport seats, a rear spoiler, and hi-end 18-inch wheels.
The first Opel Corsa GSi left the conveyor belt as far back as 1987.
