The next generation of Opel Corsa – and its first one to be released under the supervision of the PSA Group – should be released soon, and the changes look quite drastic.
First off, the new Corsa generation will utilize the CMP architecture instead of the old one designed by General Motors.
Second, there will be an all-new engine palette centered on a 1.2-liter turbocharged engine with decent performance and superb fuel efficiency.
Third, the exterior of the vehicle will be reimagined from the ground up to follow the uniform design concept recently introduced by the PSA Group.
Among other things, an all-electric Opel Corsa will be made available a while after the main release.
