The Opel Grandland X (see video) is over four years old, so it should not surprise you that it has received a mid-life refresh to look more like the Crossland and Mokka SUVs updated earlier.
The car now sports Opel’s trademark Vizor front designed by Mark Adams and his team, which unites standard LED headlights and the radiator grille into a single unit resembling a helmet visor. LED Matrix headlamps with 84 lights per section is available at a premium.
Major changes made it into the cabin, too. The Pure Panel now houses a 12-inch digital dash, a 10-inch infotainment screen, and as few hardware controls as possible.
Buyers get an adaptive cruise control system with advanced features, as well as an optional night vision system capable of recognizing objects up to 100 meters (328 feet) away and showing them on the display.
Technical parameters remain to be announced, but the AWD hybrid spec with an electric motor built into the rear-wheel drive system will continue to be available.
Sales will start this fall.
