The German company reported an unexpectedly large
consumer demand for the updated model. Since February of this year, the total
number of orders for Opel Insignia in the body of liftback and station wagon
worldwide amounted to 50,000 copies.
Opel's top manager Peter Cuspert commented on this
situation as follows: "Opel managed to recreate in one car the optimal
balance of comfort, management acumen, modern technologies and all at a fairly
affordable price."
The new generation of Opel Insignia has already been
tested by journalists from the top European publications. In comparison with
the direct competitors of the model, out of thirteen comparative tests the
novelty won in eight.
In Germany, the cost of the basic equipment of the
liftback Insignia Grand Sport is 25 940 euros, and the Insignia Sport Tourer -
26 940 euros. From the official dealers of the brand you can purchase a model
in the body of the versatile off-roader - Opel Insignia Country Tourer. Its
price starts from 34 885 euros.
