On the eve of the
International Motor Show in Frankfurt, the Germans declassified the sports
version of the new generation Opel Insignia GSi Sports Tourer.
From the standard model, the
novelty is distinguished by a sporty aerodynamic body kit and other interior
trim. Inside the station wagon appeared sports seats and a steering wheel, as
well as the design of some chrome interior details.
Motor range Opel Insignia
GSi Sports Tourer will be presented as a gasoline and diesel engine. Both
variations will work in tandem with an eight-speed automatic transmission with
the ability to change stages with the help of steering paddles.
And now more about the
"engines". The first 2.0-liter engine, already equipped with the
Insignia GSi hatchback, generates 260 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. Acceleration
to 100 km / h with this motor car will gain in 7.5 seconds, and its top speed
of 245 km/h.
The diesel is represented by
a four-cylinder 2.0-liter twin-turbocharged engine that generates 210
horsepower and 480 Nm of torque. This modification accelerates to the first
"hundred" in 7.9 seconds, and its "maximum" is 245 km/h.
In equipping the sports
version of the estate included mechatronic chassis FlexRide with adaptive shock
absorbers, all-wheel drive, reconfigured suspension with understated clearance,
Brembo brake mechanisms, electronic imitation of differential lock on the front
axle and torque distribution system between the rear wheels. As well as light
alloy rims for 20 inches and high-performance tires Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S.
Sales of the
"loaded" station wagon Opel Insignia GSi Sports Tourer in Germany
will begin before the end of this year.
