Aftermarket parts manufacturer H&R has released a sport-grade spring set for the Opel Insignia Sports Tourer GSI estate. The company claims the new springs enable the car to enter turns more smoothly, like a real sport car, and roll less.
The new springs result in a 25 mm lower ride height, moving the center of gravity down and positively affecting performance. Lowered stance has purely aesthetic benefits as well: the wheels now perfectly fit in the arches and the body looks sportier than ever.
Another package released by H&R, called TRAK+, contains wheel spacers for broader wheel tread.
The springs cost U.S. $320 to buy, while the spacers sell for $140.
