Pagani launches Puro, an incentive to guarantee authenticity of its cars and car parts

Several days ago, Maserati revealed the first car examined and certified to be genuine according to its new initiative called Classiche. Today, Pagani has launched a similar service.

The service is called Puro and consists of around 400 different checks aimed at establishing whether the car submitted to the examination is genuine or has aftermarket modifications. The checks cover nearly everything down to nuts and bolts. All Pagani supercar owners may request the certification whenever they want to, regardless of how old their vehicle is or whether it is still on warranty.

All cars that pass the examination are entitled to receiving prolonged warranty certificates valid for select units and components. Owners also get a black leather-bound book with the check history, examination summary and details, and more. Pagani believes that owners should keep this book along with the car until the end of its service life, and use it as a proof of authenticity to get better auction offers.
