The Italian carbon hypercar builder Pagani has unveiled its latest creation, a unique vehicle developed in cooperation with Garage Italia Customs tuning workshop by custom order of Lapo Edovard Elkann, majority stockholder and heir to the FIAT empire.
The main feature of the Thunderbolt – that’s what the Italian name of the car stands for, by the way – is its unique exterior design inspired by the 1954 FIAT Turbina Concept. Back in its glory years, the Turbina was considered a truly one-of-a-kind vehicle thanks to its extremely low aerodynamic resistance.
The new Pagani Huayra Lampo has got an excellent 6-liter V12 monster engine by Mercedes AMG. The unit is easily capable of 765 horsepower and 1000 Nm torque, enabling the car to accelerate 0-100 km/h (0-60 mph) in under three seconds and go at a maximum speed of 370 km/h (230 mph).
The new hypercar is going to remain the only one of its kind. No mention of its price was made.
