The place for the presentation of the roadster was the
Elegance Competition at Pebble Beach. A unique modification of the car, was
released in 1999, turned out to be one of the most unusual in the history of
the model.
Externally, the new version of the supercar has a very
low windshield. There is a feeling that the front desk is cut at least halfway.
The rear wheels are covered with a carbon fiber inset on the top, the rear
lights are slightly modified, and a ventilated hood, carbon air intakes, a
diffuser and a rear fender are installed. In addition, the model received
exclusive 20- and 21-inch wheel disks, front and rear, which are painted in two
colors - blue and gold.
The salon is made in light beige tone, on the seats,
taken from Huayra BC drawing "tartan".
Under the hood of the Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta is a
6.0-liter atmospheric unit with a capacity of 800 horsepower and 850 Nm of
torque, borrowed from the Mercedes-AMG V12. The motor works together with a
six-speed manual gearbox. Dynamic characteristics of the
supercar are not specified.
The plans of the Italian company to build only three
copies of the supercar Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta. One of them is intended for
the founder of the brand Horatio Pagani, and the other two will be sold.
According to the rumors, the cost of such a car will be 15 million dollars.
