Foglizzo unveils a radical Pagani Zonda paintjob

Foglizzo, a Turkish enterprise that specializes in leather tanning, has unveiled its latest project: A Pagani Zonda supercar wearing an intricate, multi-color, manually-applied lacquering that the company believes is a good advertisement for the wide range of colors and tints its leather products have.

Foglizzo enlisted the help of well-known Saudi artist Shalimar Sharbatly for this art project. Ms. Sharbatly used pastel blue hues for the driver’s part of the vehicle, warmer tones for the passenger part, and a wild mix of all other the colors used elsewhere for the rear part.

This isn’t the first car paintjob in Sharbatly’s portfolio. She produced a unique livery for a Porsche car last year, which was later showcased at an exhibition in Louvre.

Shalimar Sharbatly creates artworks united by the common theme she calls “Moving Art”. She says she takes ordinary, everyday items and paints them in various vivid colors to create the desired attitude and mood.

Series production of Pagani Zonda supercars came to a halt five years ago, but the factory still processes orders by individual clients and car design ateliers.
