Pagani CEO said in a recent interview that the new Zonda HP Barchetta hypercar is the most expensive light vehicle in the world. The Barchetta costs €15,000,000, which is several millions euro above the price of the one-and-only Rolls-Royce Sweptail (€11,200,000).
The company plans to assemble 3 copies of Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta, but one of these has already been reserved for the brand owner. Compared to the main Zonda series, the Barchetta has no roof, a shaved-off A-pillar and carbon aerodynamic moldings on rear wheels.
The interior is beige with Huayra BC plaid seats. The engine is a 6.0-liter V12, rated at 800 hp (597 kW) and working in conjunction with a six-speed manual transmission.
The Pagani Zonda series has been manufactured in 1999 through 2011. The last variant to be released was called Tricolore. After Tricolore, the manufacturer has fulfilled several custom orders.
