Novelties
The Italian automaker will be assembling only 10 Codalunga Speedster supercars as a homage to the racing legends of the mid-20th century.
Every car comes with a removable hard top featuring a see-through section. This design makes it look lightweight compared to more traditional hardtops. The exhaust system culminates in six tailpipes out of which four are grouped in the middle of the rear end in a traditional Pagani fashion. The remaining two exhaust finishers stick out from below the rear bumper.
The interior makes intensive use of forged and polished aluminum, redwood, fine leather and body-matching trims. Customers are invited to personalize their vehicles in terms of colors and trim.
Power for the Codalunga Speedster comes from an AMG-sourced V12 tuned to 864 PS (852 hp / 635 kW) and 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft) of torque. The drive is on the rear wheels, but you can choose between semi-speed manual and 7DCT for the transmission. Both are capable of taking the car to 350 km/h (217 mph) and braking it quickly thanks to high-end Brembo brakes.
The original Codalunga coupe was launched three years ago (see video). It was modeled upon the Huayra, but received 360 mm (14 inches) of added rear overhang and other major modifications. Only five units were made and sold from €7 million. The Speedster pricing is being kept secret, but it’s already official that the production will be capped at 10 units.
