Multiple sources are reporting that someone in Malaysia has managed to procure official design sketches of the Perodua D55L SUV meant for the international market.
The car was announced a long time ago and still goes by without official technical specs. All we know at the moment is that it comes based on the DNGA platform and draws upon Toyota Raize/Daihatsu Rocky Duo tech. The engine has one liter of displacement, and the transmission is continuously variable.
Prices also aren’t discussed thus far, but as a B-class vehicle, the Perodua D55L should be quite affordable.
The production is scheduled to start later this year, and the launch should follow in January 2021.
