Next-gen Peugeot 208 to debut at Geneva show

French car manufacturer Peugeot is almost ready to show us the new generation of its 208 hatchback. The car will celebrate its premiere at the Geneva motor show with a number of interesting new features.

This isn’t the first time car spotters manage to take photos of the pre-production 208. This time around we are treated to the all-electric version of the car, the one that, according to rumors, will have a driving range of 300 kilometers (185 miles).

In an earlier statement, Peugeot said it wanted to become the first car company to release a subcompact car with three drivetrains (gasoline, diesel and all-electric) to choose among.

The new Peugeot 208 looks quite similar to other cars of its family, including the 308 and 508. In particular, its headlights and brake lights look inspired by those of the 508.

We expect the car to ship with loads of safety and comfort-oriented features, a lower-tier self-drive feature, a revamped infotainment system and more.
