The Geneva Motor Show, which will be held next spring, will become the premier platform for the new prototype Peugeot 208. The hatchback will enter the series in a year, as representatives of the French automaker state.
The updated Peugeot 208 will receive a new E-CMP chassis, which was also created by specialists from Dongfeng from China. Thanks to the new "cart" the length of the machine will grow to four meters.
Interestingly, the fact that before the electric car will see the Peugeot 208 with a gasoline and diesel power unit. Fans of speed will be able to purchase a GTi-modification with a 1.2-liter engine, forced to 200 "horses". A fully electric model will be available to customers by the end of 2019.
Remember, it became known earlier that the concern PSA Group, uniting Peugeot, Citroen and DS, by 2021 will release four models, equipped with a fully electric power plant.
