New Peugeot E-3008 presents exterior

Peugeot continues posting teasers of its all-electric E-3008 model. The company polled fans on its social media pages what pre-production wrap they would like to see on its new cars, and out of the three options, this one won.

Cars in similar-looking wraps will now continue to run their final pre-production tests on the roads of Europe before the reveal planned for September.

The E-3008 looks like a crossover SUV, but the manufacturer insists on calling it an “electric fastback”. It does have a coupe-like body with a roof gently sloping towards the rear section. The overhangs are about as long as in the first generation, but the headlights have been reshaped and made thinner. The taillights, also new, now overlap the fenders even more.

Peugeot posted some interior shots a while ago, revealing the latest design iteration of the cabin. The highlights here include a “floating” 21-inch curved display, a steering wheel with capacitive buttons that nonetheless provide tactile feedback, and programmable touch controls on the center console.
