Car spotters have pinned down the location of the latest Peugeot 308 test vehicle as it was loaded onto a truck for transportation. The production launch is expected later this spring, but let’s have a closer look at it in the meantime.
The third-generation hatchback is Peugeot’s first car to make use of the company’s redesigned logo. It also boasts new headlights with fang-shaped DRLs and quite a bit of a gap between the lights and the hood cover.
The fenders sport badges, too, but our personal highlight is the new grille destined to become a signature feature of all future Peugeot cars.
In all likelihood, the new 308 uses EMP2 underpinnings; the platform lends itself best to ICE and hybrid powertrains.
