The Women’s World Car of the Year 2021 title goes to the Peugeot 308.
A team of 56 female car reporters from 40 countries on five continents has chosen the best out of 65 new cars released last year. The Peugeot 308 impressed the panel with its driving performance, design, trim features, comfort and affordability.
The latest generation of the 308 debuted last year in five-door hatchback and wagon versions (see video). It comes powered by 1.2L and 1.6L petrol turbos and a 1.5L diesel turbo. A hybrid is in the list as well, and a BEV is coming later.
Winners in six subcategories were announced in mid-February, with the Peugeot 308 claiming the Best City Car award.
