The next-gen Peugeot 408 will hit the spotlight at the end of the current month, and here’s an image to keep you excited.
The company says the car will gain crossover-like exterior traits. The picture shows its front end with a radiator grille and the badge, as well as some of the lower grille with an unusual mesh pattern.
The new 4008 – which you can see on the spy photos in the rest of the gallery here – is also getting ready to debut soon. It is expected to get a lifted ride height, a more aggressive appearance and asymmetrical wheels. It will be produced on the same platform as the Opel Astra, Peugeot 308 and DS DS4, and become available as a PHEV for the first time.
Stellantis Group, which controls Peugeot, plans to go all-electric in Europe by the end of the decade, although the decision only concerns light passenger cars. The brand's commercial transports will stick to IC engines for the time being.
