The famous French car manufacturer Peugeot has announced it was going to issue a new coupe-like crossover vehicle by 2020.
The new Peugeot 4008 SUV will be based on the previous model – the 3008 – and will take advantage of the modular EMP2 car platform which comes with a proprietary suspension adjustment feature. The newcomer will also get a redesigned radiator grille, headlamps and other distinctive features to tell it from the Peugeot 3008.
There’s going to be quite a few modifications to choose from, including baseline models equipped with PureTech three-cylinder gasoline engines, optional 1.6- and 2.0-liter diesels, a hybrid version, and a high-performance car with 300+ hp.
Nothing has been said regarding premiere dates or price estimations.
