After the premiere of the new Peugeot 3008 just two days ago, the French automotive marque brings out a similar update for its larger cousin, the 5008.
The flagship SUV sports the same scope of changes: the bezel-free grille, new headlights with fang-shaped DRLs, revised bumpers and 19-inch wheels. Blacked-out body kit parts are available at a premium.
Things follow the same mold inside as well. The 12.3-inch digital dashboard and the 10-inch infotainment display with hardware controls have been refreshed heading into next year, and adaptive cruise control along with night vision have been added under options.
The new Peugeot 5008 holds onto its usual 2.0-liter diesel engine worth 180 hp (134 kW). Unlike the Peugeot 3008, which ended up with two hybrid variants (see video), the larger SUV makes do without electric power for so long.
Both models should hit the market in Europe by the end of the year.
