Peugeot Inception tells us what the company’s future releases may look like

Peugeot has presented its development vector at CES with a design study called Inception. The car will not go into production itself, but will inspire a whole range of mass-market vehicles the first of which will see the daylight as soon as 2025.

The all-electric study comes equipped with a 100-kWh traction battery, allegedly giving it up to 800 km (497 mi) of range. Five minutes of charging tops up the battery enough for another 150 km (93 miles) of driving. Dual motors drive all four wheels with a combined 680 PS (671 hp / 500 kW).

Elsewhere, the newcomer boasts the latest-generation i-Cockpit cabin with a roughly rectangular steering wheel. The glass dome is huge, and Peugeot claims the vehicle supports Level 4 self-driving, during which the steering wheel automatically recedes into the front panel.
