First photos of the next-generation Peugeot 508 have leaked online. The vehicle will see its official premiere at the Geneva International Motor Show starting in a couple weeks, but we can have a look at the changes in the meantime.
The redesigned model comes with a different roof inclination angle and generally appears more stylish and modern than its current-generation counterpart. Industry professionals say a sports-oriented Peugeot 508 GT is also likely to be released alongside the base model. It is going to get a reshaped radiator grille and a more aggressive-looking body kit with overall better aerodynamics.
The exterior of the vehicle shown on the photos follows the Peugeot i-Cockpit design direction and appears consistent and up-to-date.
As we told in an earlier news, the refreshed Peugeot 508 takes advantage of the EMP2 car platform and comes with a wide variety of engines to choose from, including turbocharged diesel and gasoline engines 1.2 to 2.0 liters large. A hybrid model is also likely.
