Peugeot to bring its new lion ambassador sculpture to the Geneva show

Visitors to the 2018 International Motor Show in Geneva, Switzerland starting on March 8th will be the first to see the new official ‘ambassador figure’ of the French automotive brand Peugeot. The giant lion sculpture has been crafted in the Peugeot Design Lab in France.

The move itself is hardly surprising – after all, the lion has been the mascot of the French company for over 200 years – but it does make attending the Geneva show all the more worthwhile. If you aren’t convinced, consider that the sculpture is nearly 12.5 x 5 meters (40 x 16 ft.) large. More on-topic, Peugeot will unveil an all-new compact car named Peugeot Rifter and a crossover SUV concept based on the same platform during the Geneva show. There’s also going to be an updated five-door Peugeot 508 fastback to look at, which will later be released with a wide variety of engines and driver aids to choose from.
