French automaker Peugeot and household appliance brand Whirlpool have joined efforts to build the Whirlpool Experience Tour, a mobile kitchen for shows and presentations.
A Peugeot Expert at heart, the vehicle features sides that you can lift and swing open to form an open-air steam cooking area. The operator has access to W6 and W7 combi steamers, a large fridge and solar panel power from the roof. A large multimedia screen displays the technical specifications and features of the equipment used.
Whirlpool steam oven sellers have already expressed their excitement about the concept, and the vehicle has already attended 72 corporate training sessions. Next year, the company plans to contract Peugeot to build several more such show cars to promote its products in the UK and Italy.
