2024 Peugeot E-Rifter bows with updated looks, more range

Peugeot has presented the facelift version of all-electric E-Rifter minivan. Aside from a fresh exterior and a modified cabin, it received a range boost, although the motor stayed the same.

New bumpers, headlights and fake grille slab at the front lend the battery-powered Rifter a distinct new look with SUV vibes. Imitation rugged panels, a plastic body kit and extra ground clearance further accentuate the ‘off-roader’ image, although there is no tech to support it.

The interior remains to be properly revealed, but we know from the official press release that the infotainment display is now sized 10 inches large instead of 8. You can order a matching digital dashboard if you want to. Over-the-air updates, a high-resolution reversing camera and improved voice command recognition are on the list, too.

The only electric motor available for the model produces 136 PS (134 hp / 100 kW) and draws its power from a 50-kWh battery. The minivan hits its acceleration limit at 135 km/h (84 mph) and runs out of power after 320 km (199 miles), which is still 40 km (25 miles) better than the pre-facelift version could do.
