Pininfarina comes up with a new concept named the Teorema

The renowned Italian coachbuilder has revealed a few virtual 3D sketches of its upcoming design study meant to demonstrate what the future of mobility looks like. A full premiere should follow in a few weeks.

Specifics are light at this point. We are told that the car is 5.4 meters (17.7 feet) long and 1.4 meters (4.6 feet) tall, and comes powered by electric motors. It features the highest level of driving autonomy and sports a rather unusual body with the entrance at the rear and a movable roof part.

The lack of side doors isn’t just a random design decision, Pininfarina claims. Apparently, this enables the company to make the body more rigid and practical while maximizing the use of interior space.

Despite this, the cabin is at its widest at the rear end and looks pretty cramped at the front. It is intended to accommodate up to five passengers in a 1+2+2 seating formula. The driver can engage autopilot at any time and turn around to face the rest of the passengers.

Other highlights include 5G support, AI-powered technologies, and augmented reality features.
