Automobili Pininfarina, a renowned Italian coachbuilder and also carmaker as of recently, has appointed Paolo Dellachà for Chief Executive Officer, retiring Per Svantesson from the position.
Paolo Dellachà, a highly qualified engineer with background in Ferrari and Maserati, had worked for Pininfarina as its Product and Design Director prior to the promotion. In his inaugural speech, he thanked the company for the opportunity to bring it to a new level. The coachbuilder’s plans for the near future include cementing its status as a leading manufacturer of luxury electrified vehicles.
Automobili Pininfarina currently has its headquarters in Munich, Germany, but plans to assemble its Battista hypercar (shown below) and all other future vehicles in Italy.
