Pininfarina teases its next hyper-EV

A new electric hypercar from Pininfarina will arrive this summer. Chances are good that it will be a special edition of the Battista celebrating five years of the Automobili Pininfarina department.

The current version (shown here) comes equipped with quad electric motors joining forces for 1,927 PS (1,900 hp / 1,417 kW). It draws power from a Rimac battery sized 120 kWh. The sprint from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) takes 1.86 seconds and hitting 200 km/h (124 mph) takes 4.75 seconds. Both numbers have been officially recorded at the Nardo racetrack as the new world record. The top speed is called at 350 km/h (217 mph), and the WLTP-rated range amounts to 476 km (295 miles).

The Battista is currently being produced in a series limited to 150 units, each taking 1,250 hours to make on average. Customers can choose from 128 million different exterior/interior finish combinations and multiple wheel designs. There is also an optional styling pack called Exterior Jewellery. Prices start from €2.2 million.
