Polestar, a Swedish EV brand subordinate to Volvo, has arranged for a battery life comparison between its model number 2 and a few other battery cars in an attempt to prove that its car has superior range.
The contenders entered the track and proceeded to make rounds at around 112 km/h (70 mph). In the end, according to the EPA measurement standard, the Polestar 2 has only covered 82% of the manufacturer-claimed typical range. The Tesla Model 3 failed even harder at 75%.
While this may look like a contest ending in the favor of the Swedish marque, it really is not. If we express the results in actual mileage, it becomes easy to see that the Tesla covered 376 km (233 miles), while the Polestar only made 330 km (205 miles).
