Polestar released a software update for its ‘2’ model this spring, which brought plenty of improvements with it, but it now looks like a visual overhaul was also in the plans.
The spy shots depict the zero-emission liftback with only minimal camo on, running on public roads in the Austrian Alps. The wrap at the front end probably conceals a faux radiator grille and redesigned bumper/headlights.
The sides look unchanged except for wheels, but those are taped over with a silver tape. At least we now know the tire model, which is Michelin Primacy 245/45 R19.
In the United States, the single-motor version of the Polestar 2 starts from $48,400. Opting for two motors will set you back $51,900 or more.
