Following the reveal of the Precept Concept in late February, car marque Polestar has officially announced that the crossover vehicle would eventually get a production run.
The Polestar 3 continues the brand’s tradition of giving cars numbers instead of names and is being advertised as an ‘aerodynamic off-roader’. It will take advantage of a brand-new design philosophy and likely ship with the same 12.5-inch dash screen and 15-inch infotainment screen as the concept.
The premiere is scheduled for late 2020, and no further details exist at this date. In all likelihood, the newcomer will share its principal design and tech with the Polestar 1 PHEV and the all-electric Polestar 2. It will also probably draw upon the latest solutions developed by its parent brand, Volvo, as well as its Chinese spin-off, Lynk & Co.
