Polestar, a car brand co-owned by Geely and Volvo, is currently working on two new cars. The first is an SUV set to debut in October and go into production in China and the United States – here’s the first official image of it.
The company has confirmed that the first deliveries are scheduled for early 2023. The first version to become available will offer dual electric engines, AWD and a traction battery enough for more than 600 kilometers (373 miles) of WLTP-rated driving range. A single-motor spec is in the plans for later.
It is official that the Polestar 3 will be priced from €75,000.
In 2024, the company plans to introduce Polestar 5, an electric sedan that will take the fight to the Tesla Model S and the Porsche Taycan.
