A few years ago, Polestar surprised the world with its design study called Precept – and it now debuts again, with numerous improvements and under a new name.
The automaker says nothing about any production prospects, but reveals a bit about the car itself. It is built on the company’s proprietary aluminum platform that it also plans to use in all future releases. The body is very rigid, and the top is completely removable in the roadster version. The top itself represents a frame with panoramic windows in it.
The interior can accommodate up to four people. Recycled materials are responsible for much of the trim. Interestingly enough, the video shows a quad copter parked behind the second seat row. It’s not on the photos, but the company says it can take off and film the car in motion until 90 km/h (56 mph).
