Polestar has come to the Goodwood Festival of Speed with an all-electric design study called the BST. It is based on the upcoming roadster model known as the Polestar 6 and wears an aggressive aero kit making it suitable for the track – but the production prospects remain dubious.
Starting at the front, the EV features a completely new front bumper with an impressively sized splitter and enlarged air intakes. It also has air vents in the frunk lid for some reason and generously flared fenders. A new rear diffuser and a large rear wing on nice body-integrated supports round off the list of body kit parts.
The whole exterior is painted in a new shade of silvery gray and decorated with the letterings “BST” and “Polestar 6”. The new wheels are sized 22 inches in diameter.
While introducing the car at Goodwood, Polestar CEO Thomas Ingenlath said it embodied “a new pinnacle of sports car evolution” for the company. He neglected to specify whether the upcoming Polestar 6 roadster will get a similar-looking special edition or not.
