Old Pontiac does its best GTO impression

Classical Pontiac cars – such as the LeMans, for example – are not nearly as popular as the legendary GTO muscle car that used to be produced in the 1960s. GM had to eventually wrap up the production due to insufficient demand.

Luckily, the car enthusiasts continued to build copies of the famous vehicle, often using the second-generation Pontiac LeMans as base.

What we have here is just such a car, remodeled with parts taken from a 1971 GTO. The entire front fascia has been replaced, one of the highlights being the trademark radiator grille.

It is one of those times when some like the outcome and some think it had better not have happened. What do you think?
