1974 Pontiac Firebird gets Formula looks and Corvette power

Check out this 1974 Pontiac Firebird stylized to look like the 1971 Pontiac Formula and packing a Katech-modded GM LS3 V8 under the hood.

The old-timer boasts a completely restored body painted grey and rides on large-ish Foose Nitrous wheels that fill out their respective arches perfectly thanks to height-adjustable suspension. Wilwood brake calipers can be seen behind the spokes, and this is not a mere aesthetic upgrade.

The sporty coupe delivers up to 560 hp (418 kW) to the wheels along with 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of maximum torque via a four-speed automatic transmission. Judging by the lack of the stock rear wing or aero kit of any kind, the car probably produces enough downforce as is.

Inside, the viewer is greeted by Corbeau seats and an opulent leather trim covering all imaginable surfaces. The Auto Meter instrument panel boasts a carbon-fiber frame, and the B&M gear stick joins the Budnik steering wheel in recreating the authentic 1970s atmosphere.
