Car collector John Dixon has put up more than 30 cars from the Taj Ma Garaj collection for an auction in September. The offer notably includes a 66-year-old Porsche 356 converted into a stretch limo.
As evidenced by the V-shaped windshield, the car is based on an early, non-A 356 model. It has a trunk compartment at the front and a double-barrel carburetor engine at the rear.
The unique car also sports purpose-made extra doors, a VW Beetle-like sunroof and air suspension. It rides on a set of original wheels with chrome covers and retro whitewall tires.
RM Sotheby’s will hold the auction in Ohio on September 28, 2019. The starting price remains unannounced.
