The well-known automaker Porsche held the official presentation of the new electric coupe Cayman e-volution Concept in Stuttgart, Germany. This car was assembled on the basis of the classic serial Porsche Cayman. However, as noted in the company, this project is only intended to demonstrate the company's capabilities in developing and manufacturing environmentally friendly cars, and the novelty will not go into the series.
Speaking about the technical side of the issue, the Cayman e-volution Concept can accelerate to 100 km / h in just 3.3 seconds. And, about the characteristics of the engine installed under the hood of the new car, nothing is known, except that it is powered by an 800-volt battery, which is enough for 200 kilometers of track.
Recall, the first serial electric car will be a four-door car, created on the basis of the concept Porsche Mission E Concept. It will be released on the roads in 2020. By the way, most recently in the network there were spy photos of the test prototype of this model in the commodity body. The car will be equipped with a 320-kilowatt quick charge system for the Porsche Turbo Charging battery pack.
