Porsche has revealed what appears to be one of its most unusual concept vehicles to date – the 2018 Vision Renndienst, an all-electric minivan whose name means “Racing Service”.
The car is depicted on some photos standing next to the rare Volkswagen T1 van owned by the Porsche team. It is a compact single-space minivan that can accommodate up to six people. Its steering wheel sits in the middle of the cabin McLaren F1-style, with two seats behind the driver’s seat and a bank for three behind those.
Given that nothing has been revealed about the powertrain, we are going to assume that the Vision Renndienst is a life-size mock-up of a car, rather than a functional prototype.
