This 67-year old Porsche 356B Super Coupe has stood in its garage collecting dust and rust since 1970. It has been driven for around 102,000 kilometers (63,380 miles), and its finder is asking U.S. $56,500 for it.
The car appears remarkably well-preserved for its age, both on the outside and inside, where the OEM red and black upholstery still manages to look inviting. Despite this, the five decades of idleness took their toll, covering the engine bay and floor with rust and decaying the trunk padding to the point of no return.
The 356B Super Coupe, which you can have a look at in the video, was one of the spin-offs of the original Porsche 356 that used to be produced in 1959 – 1963. Its 1.6-liter engine pumped out 75 hp (56 kW) and connected to a four-speed manual transmission, taking the car from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in fifteen seconds. The coupe itself weighed in at around 900 kilograms (2,000 pounds).
