The car is constructed on the basis of Porsche Panamera of new generation, the premiere of which was held in June, 2016. The main difference from the hatchback consists actually in a new body, the technical stuffing of the model remained the same.
It is noted that the car has an adaptive sliding spoiler on a roof. This design is develoed to reduce the front resistance and unpleasant noise from wind at the open sunroof. At the speed of 90 km / h the wing rises to 26 degrees, so that the driver will no longer feel discomfort because of "beating ears" effect.
The basic variation assumes a five-seater interior with a rear sofa, but versions with two separate chairs in the second row are available as an option. The station wagon can also boast of the increased trunk volume: now it makes 520 liters (20 liters more, than it was in hatchback version), and at the folded back row of seats reaches 1390 liters. You can get a trunk fixing system, which includes threaded connections and hinges for fixing things and the net for a fee.
In total it is panned to release 5 various versions of the model depending on the type and capacity of the power plant. So, there will be presented 330-hp Panamera 4 Sport Turismo, 440-hp Panamera 4S Sport Turismo, hybrid Panamera 4 E-Hybrid Sport Turismo with a power of 462 h.p., 422-hp Panamera 4S Diesel Sport Turismo and the most powerful Panamera Turbo Sport Turismo which engine will generate 550 horsepowers.
Sport Turismo version will appear in the European markets only in October, 2017, dealers in the rest of the world will receive a novelty in November. The cost of most of the budget version will be 97,557 euros, which is now equal to 5.9 million rubles.
