The new Porsche Canopy Tent can be Set up in a standalone manner or attached to your car’s trunk. It is listed in the Porsche Tequipment catalog with the price still pending.
The accessory is cube-shaped and looks like an open gazebo sized 2.3 x 2.3 meters (7.55 x 7.55 feet). It can be used as is without side sections, with solid dark sections or with mosquito nets. You can also attach an “extender tent” to it to get a sleeping area. The modular design even lets you combine several such canopies into one large space. A hand pump, mounting hardware, a side panel with a plastic window and a floor lining on Velcro straps are already included, as is the trunk attachment part.
Paid extras include a warm blanket, a bag/footwear organizer, a portable PDS20 Outdoor Speaker rated for 10 hours of autonomy, a thermos flask and a water-repellant backpack.
