YouTuber Teknikens Värld has posted a video with a Porsche 718 Boxster Spyder trying its mettle at the good old double-lane-switch test a.k.a. moose test.
The car is available in the same GT Silver color the Carrera GT shipped in back at the time. The gold-tinted trim can be found on the bumpers, air intakes and wheels. Power comes from a four-liter flat-six engine rated at 400 PS (394 hp / 294 kW).
The test crew has a rather modest speed requirement for the test: the car passes as long the driver can switch out of the lane and quickly back in at 72 km/h (44.7 mph) without hitting any traffic cones. On the other hand, the car is fully loaded prior to the test to simulate a driving scenario that’s closer to the real life.
During the trials, the Porsche roadster had no issue whatsoever completing the moose test at 72 km/h and even managed a clean run at 79 km/h (49.1 mph).
