Unique Porsche 911 goes up on sale

Akira Nakai, owner of Rauh Welt Begriff, is well-known for his unusual takes on Porsche cars. His trademark feature is the gigantic fender flares present in all his works. One of his customized vehicles will soon be sold at an auction in the USA.

Akira took a Porsche 911 (964) as a starting point and proceeded to equip it with an aggressive-looking 15-part body kit, which nonetheless succeeded in keeping the original style of the car intact. Then he painted it Porsche Guards Red and replaced the stock lighting with dual-Xenon one.

Then the car went over to Bisimoto Engineering for another round of tuning. The engineers have upgraded its 3.6-liter inline 6 engine with a turbocharger, lightweight pistons and a new exhaust system, resulting in a performance increase to 400 hp (298 kW) and 533 Nm (393 lbĂ—ft) of torque.

Among other things, the unique Porsche 911 received Brembo brakes, coilover suspension, and an ultra-modern wheel set.

The interior of the car features a vintage theme in black and red and houses Momo Supercup sport seats in front. The back seat row has been replaced with a roll cage.

It is hard to predict how much a one-of-a-kind vehicle like this would fetch at the forthcoming auction.
