Luxury car manufacturer Porsche continues its series of videos dedicated to the most memorable and special cars it has ever built. This time around, the story wraps around the interior design of the new 911 (992).
According to the Porsche interior design director, the cabin is primarily designed with driver’s priorities in mind. The fascia panel once again sports a horizontal layout, like the classical 911 models did.
Owing to the use of advanced technology and engineering, Porsche can now make the fascia and the tachometer from virtually any modern material, including wood, carbon, and aluminum.
The 8th generation of the Porsche 911 supercar family debuted at the Los-Angeles Auto Show last year. Its exterior design turned out to be identical with that of the previous generation, but it did receive an all-new cabin inspired by the 1970s, as well as a revised selection of engines.
In the previous video stories, Porsche has told us about the five most important, five most expensive, five rarest, five fastest, and five lightest sports cars it has ever built.
