A video showcasing the crazy acceleration dynamics of the next-generation Porsche 911 Carrera S has been uploaded on the German page of Motorsport Magazine. The footage follows the sports car as it climbs almost to 240 km/h (150 mph).
The German luxury coupe took 10 seconds to sprint 0-200 km/h (0-124 mph) and another 5 to make it to 236 km/h (147 mph).
The new Porsche 911 family saw the spotlight in the fall of 2018. In particular, the Carrera S coupe comes equipped with a 3.0-liter engine rated at 450 hp (336 kW), partnered with an 8-speed semi-automatic transmission.
According to the manufacturer, the rear-drive car needs 3.5 seconds to sprint 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) as long as it has the optional Sport Chrono Package installed. It also maxes out at nearly 310 km/h (193 mph).
