Porsche 911 R. The new modification of the driver Porsche 911 will "give
pleasure to driving not only on the race track, but also on the roads of common
use". It was reported by the popular publication Autocar with the words of
the head of the research and development department of the German company.
Recall, in Porsche, the 911
R sports car was limited, in honor of the current generation of the model, to
991 copies. But those who wanted to buy a car turned out to be much more, so
the cost of the Porsche 911 R was several times higher than the starting price.
"After the launch of
the Porsche 911 R, we knew that more and more customers want to get clean, fun
sports cars. We always had models, both with limited and unlimited
circulations. For "clean" sports cars, you do not need to limit the
circulation", – Mikhail Steiner noted in a conversation with reporters.
The timing of the novelty was not named, but if we take into account that
in a couple of years the model will be replaced by a generation, the driver
Porsche 911 may appear in the very near future.
