Japanese tuner Rauh-Welt Begriff (RWB) just released this restored 1988 Porsche 911 Carrera. The elderly vehicle gained an aggressive-looking aerodynamic kit, a modern interior and a sizable engine boost.
The body kit includes studded fender flares, a restyled front apron with a purely ornamental spoiler lip, a rear apron and a prominent ducktail spoiler. Prior to installing these, the RWB team took care to thoroughly restore the body of the sports car, give it a Guards Red Glasurit paintjob and tint the windows.
The tuner also swapped the factory wheels out for a set of 18-inch multi-piece forged rims from Forgestar. Painted black for contrast, they conceal modern Porsche performance brakes behind the spokes.
Wrapping up the list of exterior changes are a lowered stance and bi-Xenon headlights.
The interior now houses bucket seats draped in black leather, a Momo Mod 7 steering wheel, a roll cage taking up the space of the second seat row, and much more.
The car comes powered by a 3.2-liter, six-cylinder boxer engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Its stock output equals 217 hp (162 kW). Rauh-Welt Begriff did mention a performance boost, but never provided any specifics.
