An attentive driver in Miami has managed to spot and record on video a whole flock of Porsche 911 prototypes, the still-unannounced 911 Targa among them.
He accidentally discovered the cars standing at the traffic lights wearing surprisingly little test mule mascara.
The footage is less than a minute long, but still gives you a decent idea of what to expect from the revamped series. For one, the Porsche 911 Targa sports the same taillights as the standard-issue Carrera. For another, it sports a slightly edgier door design that we have seen before.
The new 911 generation was announced in the fall of 2018. In it, the Carrera S and Carrera 4S will take advantage of redesigned opposite-cylinder turbo engines partnered with 8-speed dual-clutch transmissions.
The Targa series will likely ship with the same engine range, but be a bit slower than the Carrera S/4S due to the removable top and added weight.
